Marvel: Get a clue about Japan!

I Wanna Know Where Cap Shops

Cap buys clothes with dollars in Tokyo?!

The sign at right with the nonsensical red arrow containing an off-center "1" looks like it was copied from the Japanese transliteration of the English word "lion". In fact, it was probably copied from a sign somewhere advertising Raion, a company that makes laundry detergent and toothpaste. Is the company headquarters located underneath this clothing store?

By the way, I think it would take much more than "awhile" to find a Japanese retailer who'd accept anything other than yen. Most of them won't even take traveler's checks. Also bugs me that Cap uses the word "merchant". Has kind of a "developing nation" connotation to it.

At left is a pretty good approximation of a Tokyo subway station entrance.
